A legendary subterranean civilization said to dwell deep beneath Astrodia. Long the stuff of legend, the Subterra are dismissed by most surface-dwellers as too secluded and remote to be worth bothering with.
Discovery
During the exploration of the Lost Library of Leith Chantos (Session 6, May 31, 2026), the party found that the tunnel beyond Una’s grave — past the spider-pit chasm — descended deep underground. Úlfr recalled (a Nat 20 history check) old legends of the Subterra, an underground people most consider too isolated to matter.
The party agreed that following the tunnel would be a full expedition for another day and left it undisturbed for now.
Status
A future expedition. The deep tunnel beyond Una’s grave in the Lost Library of Leith Chantos is the known route to them.
First Appeared
Session 6 (recalled in legend by Úlfr).
