The final library built by Leith Chantos, located approximately 4 days northeast of The Academy of Arcane Arts, built into a mountainside.
Like the other libraries Leith Chantos built across Astrodia, this one likely contains the buried remains of his murdered family members. It is believed to house the Nath Loom — his spellbook of poisons and antidotes.
Layout (explored so far)
- Cage Room — Entry room with a warg cage. Powell’s goblin mercenaries were camped here.
- Old Barracks — 4 beds and empty storage lockers. Iron portcullis with winch blocks the corridor north.
- Bear’s Cavern — Natural cave with a stream, accessible through a hole in the wall. A brown bear lived here alongside skeletal remains bearing a magical amulet (Divination magic).
- Supply Room — Crates of wooden slats, leather, and parchment. Three hobgoblins were searching here. Contains a secret door leading to the circular library.
- Circular Library — Magnificent multi-level room filled with thousands of books. One book displayed in a glass case (likely the Nath Loom). Balcony circles the upper level. Goblins present inside, trying to make a fire. Accessible via the barracks portcullis or the supply room secret door.
Current Status
The party is taking a short rest in the supply room (Session 4). Powell and potentially more mercenaries are still unaccounted for. The goblins in the circular library are unaware of the party’s presence.
