A spellbook created by Leith Chantos (originally known as Naf) containing hundreds of poisons and their antidotes. Leith Chantos compiled it over years of research after his family was murdered by a poison brewed by the orc priest Wound.
Current Status
Believed to be located in the Lost Library of Leith Chantos — the final library he built before departing to parts unknown. Myrna Nor hired the party to recover it for her Lorehold thesis.
Powell, Myrna’s former research partner, is also after the book and hired mercenaries to claim it first.
Session 6 (May 31, 2026)
- Returned to Myrna Nor this session, along with Leith Chantos’s newly-found personal journal (recovered from his bedchamber). The journal vindicates Myrna’s Lorehold thesis.
- The party retains permission to read the Nath Loom anytime.
- Beyond its hundreds of poisons and antidotes, it also contains transcribable wizard spells (e.g., Glyph of Warding) that are above the party’s current level — set aside for the future.
