A satellite campus of The Academy of Arcane Arts, located to the south of the Acropolis. Teaches necromancy.
Aren Greycloak has set out to investigate and possibly destroy this college.
Faculty
Professor Valentine — Dean of Witherbloom. A full vampire and sangromancer (receives visions from blood he drinks). Has denounced the higher vampires, which has made him a target for vampire assassins. Serves as mentor to Aurora Luna Wynterstarr. Potential ally for vampiric research.
Dean Lassette — Witherbloom’s top healer and herbalist. Rumored to have once cured a dragon of a secret illness. Potentially relevant to Leif’s sister’s illness.
Professor Lang — Recommended by a potion seller in Thornvale as someone who may be able to help with Leif’s sister’s mysterious illness. Also does cross-teaching with Quandrix on artificial life forms.
Access
The potion seller in Thornvale noted that teleportation would be much quicker than walking to Witherbloom from the main campus.
Session 7 — A Deferred Detour (July 15, 2026)
Witherbloom rose again as a destination: Rosie noted that vampires are the only higher beings still active and possibly the only witnesses to the Severance, making the vampire dean Professor Valentine a rare (if dangerous) source. Drolta means to visit him, and Aren pointedly floated destroying him instead. The Fallen ultimately prioritized the Nephthys temple and White Forest via Quandrix College, deferring the Witherbloom trip for later.
