Ceramia is a master WitchCrafter of Pentamarone — and, like her guild head Madame Verre, she appears to be a small girl.
Unlike Verre, she acts like one.
That contrast is the most useful thing the party learned about her. Where Verre is smug, bored, and “wise beyond her years,” Ceramia conducts herself as an actual child of the age she appears. When the guild took the party out drinking, she declined:
“I don’t think I can drink yet.”
Whether the two share a condition, a bloodline, or nothing at all is completely unexplained. She is the second child-shaped master witch in a guild the party is already suspicious of. (Resolved in Session 12: they share nothing. Ceramia really is a young girl; Verre’s youth is the accident of an experiment — see Madame Verre.)
Session 11 (September 9, 2026)
Assigned, with Seed, to the living copies produced by the Golden Chalice — what they’re made of, whether they are genuinely alive, and what animates them. Drolta joined their team for the research montage.
Session 12 (September 23, 2026)
- She really is a young girl — “unlike her boss.” She is the newest WitchCrafter, taken on because she “showed a lot of promise” and Verre took a liking to her.
- Her team’s findings (with Seed and Drolta) went into the report on the Golden Chalice: living copies are physically real but hollow — no pain, no blood, no emotion or self-preservation — and evaporate without a trace when destroyed. The cats were put down, since they aren’t technically alive.
